The weather seemed to cooperate except for a few raindrops for the Lafarge lake family fishing event yesterday, as the new fisherkids were eager to catch one of the freshly stocked rainbow trout. I and the rest of the Randog Clan headed out to lend a hand with the event that is put on by Cammer. I could see that countless hours must have been spent promoting and putting on this event. hats off to you Cam, it’s people like you that make events like this special for the future fishermen, Bravo!
A good time was had by all, Starbucks coffee, Tim Horton Doughnuts, tons of prizes, but the best prize of all was watching the youngsters reel in those feisty little trout, priceless. Also have to give a big “Thumbs Up” to the B.C. Federation Drift Fishers for the big Spring salmon that was donated as a prize, and the guys at Riverside Tackle for all the bait.

OK..... unless my eyes are playing me tricks...... that ain't no "...fiesty little trout..." :D Did that come out of Lafarge ?? Taking that out would have dropped the level of the lake a centimetre. ;D

...thanks for the pointer! Funny how the ol' eyes skip over certain sentences. Even my kids didn't spot that line.

Congratulations to the federation for hosting another fine event. Cammer, those tents look very nice, did you have to rent those or were they donated for the day?
