Howdy folks.
Your friendly Fishing Magician here again. Was fishing today in part for pleasure, but also business too as I was guiding for a local charter operator.
My stats for the trip, 1 fish on, it was a 32 lb WHITE spring caught off Ambleside after the tide change. May have had another fish on which busted off the teaser head on what I was sure was a tangle..or it happened at the same time?
At any rate, the local charter boat fleet was out there.
At any rate, I know of 3 COHO landed, one of which was a 12 lb Hatchery, and I witnessed 5 SPRINGS that I know of boated and landed. One of those was on the sister boat who had a COHO too.
I am out tomorrow on a double trip, and guess where I'll be? lol. ;D

Very nice fishin magician, nice to see some more fish are being landed. Is it peak time right now, or is that still coming???? Or has it past???? I don't know myself, new to that type of fishing. But I would like to know when a good time to book a trip would be, I am desparate to get out there and try my luck. One problem though, don't know that much about this fishery. Guess that I will have to make friends with boats ;D ;D.

PRIME TIME FOR SPRINGS STARTING NOW NOW NOW!
The fish in general are late this year, and we have yet to have a "gang buster" day off the Fraser this fall..and the T10 or Point Grey could be ok as well, but right now the Capilano is producing some good fishing.

is it looking like its gonna be a better year on the cap for springs this year or not?
