Slept in as usual. Decided to fish the upper section before the rain arrives. Pleasantly surprised to see only one car in the parking lot. Hiked down to the river and saw one angler present. :) Rigged up and on my 4th cast, Fish On ! After a nice battle, the fish was released to live another day. An hour later I hooked up with another fish. This fish wasted no time in heading back to the Pacific. As he was heading downstream, it straighten out my 1/0 hook. Gone except for the memories.

Yeah major gong show down below but it was nice to be on the river rather than at work. Some of those chums that were landed were in fantastic condition. Nicely put back too.

I hate it when you go out for a good day of fishing and come up ,, empty handed
