fished tamahi for 2 hrs this morning didnt land or catch much of anything, wonderd way down the road, hooked 15-20 nice coho, to many chums to count, only took home 2 does, landed a third but it was wild, this weekend is looking good. Except for all the crowds friday looked like a saturday, same old story. Did any one fish the upper tamahi today if so how was it. ???

Wow 15-20 coho. I spent days hunting just for one!
Yeah i fished 3 holes from tamahi up. fished tamahi for awhile but no fish to be hooked so I tried a few other spots then decided to go to the limit hole and have some fun. Once I got to limit hole a bunch of people were heading out so me and my buddy had the hole to our own. We hook into a ton of fish, all the fish were not great looking but put up a fight! Also It was pretty neat to watch the fish pass right by your feet making it up river. Id have to say that hole is one of the biggest meat holes on the river for sure, people where arriving and leaving quickly with the Black boots they were catching.

are all the springs now pretty booty?

Is the limit hole the same as the boundary hole? if not, where about is that?
It's my first time fishing in vedder and I only know tamahi and allison pool in the upper, thanks for any help :D

Limit Hole=Boundary Hole.

thanks bent rod, fished the same spots today and didnt catch any coho, moved up river 5km and hooked a few not all and all a slow day, i saw a guy and his buddy with 7 coho at the market store with the derby, store owner said the biggest coho he recorded today was 10 pounds, there in there you just got to find them

15 to 20 ? What a day. I have never had that many in one day on the Vedder river in 30 years of fishing it.

and he makes it sound like it's nothing :P

Seen a guy using a brass spinner catch 3 coho (2 wild,1 hatch) in less than 10 minutes today, I switched over from roe and within a few minutes I landed a wild bout 5 lbs then landed another wild one about 6-7 bout 20 minutes later.

I'm glad to see you're not taking a beating like I did when I said that 3 of us caught 12 ho's last Sunday. Last year, I witnessed my buddy catch 10 coho in 1 hour, using a lure I made. Needless to say, it's the same lure we used last Sunday.
