First the report. Had a great time with Springs, Chum and the odd wild Coho today.
I had walked down to scout a drift and found three guys and 3 bundles of gear on the beach nearby as they had waded out into the flow about 10 feet. I moved up stream and made a few casts when one of he guys came over and asked if I had picked up a 5 inch square x 2 inch soft pack tackle holder. I said no but had seen it.
It appears that an older gent (70s) had walked down to the area after me. He asked two of the three if the pack belonged to them and since they weren't the owners, said no. Though he didn't ask the third guy, it seems he may have picked up the pack. The pack contained irreplaceable european spinners and spoons. No I'm not sure why the owner wouldn't simply clip it to his vest.
Lesson, done leave anything you don't want to lose anywhere but on your body.
Other than that great day out on the river.
