Title: Chilliwack Oct 24 Fishing Report
Post by: happygillmore on October 25, 2005, 08:10:15 AM
Fished from 7 am to 1 pm. I had a two hookups (in previous years I have experienced 30-50 hookups in a day). From the flash I think they were Springers. My friend caught a chum. The majority of the fishermen/women that fished showed up around 8am and left around 11 am. When we left there was one other car in the parking lot. We were disappointed with the fishing. I think the water level and flow is still too high,

I love the beautiful Chilliwack river valley. There is nothing like standing on the river and watching the sun warm the air and burn off the fog, shimmering multi-colored leaves on the trees and fishermen along the bank. A beautiful site. That is what I will remember from our short, one day trip to the Chilliwack.
