i might go up there this weekend.... I have never fished it but am interested if you guys think its a little to early...

Classified Waters Licence and Steelhead Conservation Surcharge Stamp required; bait ban upstream of Martel; release all steelhead; no fishing for salmon.

No fishing on odd days if your name begins with A-M and no fishing on even days if your name begins with N-Z.  Also leave a blood and Urine sample at the gate. ;D

My wife (Kim) and I made the trip up there last Sat. after teaching the fly casting class. The Bow's are biting well, and the Steelies are a little moody as is to be expected. The locals I know are boasting banner days.

For this weekend's fishers:

Hwy 1 is closed in both directions 12 km east of Spences Bridge because of Rock Slide. Detour Highway 97C Ashcroft to Highway 8 Spences Bridge.
