I thought this had to be photo shop work, but it really does look real. Would look even better if they moved the head forward to fit the contour of the front of the plane.

The Alaska Fisheries Marketing Board gave Alaska Airlines a $500,000 grant to paint the jet.
It is a Boeing 737-490 named the 'Salmon Thirty Salmon'.

30 people worked on that paintjob for 24 days almost non-stop, and more than a mile of tape was used.
