Well Lil' Randog wen't off with a buddy for a day at the park and I had no charters booked, what else to do but go fishing
So Mrs. Randog and myself launched the Randojet and headed off for an few hours of sun and sturgeon. We arrived at our spot at around 11:30am anchor down, baited the rods then chucked them out. By the time I cleaned up my bait and grabbed a "beverage" Mrs. Randog says " look at the first rod," I turn around and it's almost bouncing out of the rod holder!!!! I make the mighty hookset and it's FISH ON! I offer the rod to Mrs. Randog but she declines. So I reel in the first of the day, a little runt of around 2 1/2'
. Rods baited and a quick 20 min. wait and Mrs. Randog puts the slam dunk on a nice five footer. After a spirited scrap we boat the dino. take a few snaps and back to the Fraser he goes. All in all, we managed six sturge to the boat in less than three hours, all sturg. were taken on lamprey eels, and the largest was Mrs. Randogs five footer. The best part was coming home to a FEAST of fresh prawns, crabs, cesear salad washed down by some great wine put on by a good buddy. Finally feels like summer is here
Tight Lines all!!
