Springs in the Frazer and how's Squarmish?
« on: July 15, 2006, 09:34:45 PM »

Hi,

I may go fishing in the squarmish river next week end, the 22nd of July.

Has anyone fished there recently? Are there some salmon around?

Please let me know.

Thanks

PS : I was in the Frazer last Saturday, between Chilliwack and hope. One of my buddy got a small spring (15lbs), another one a sockeye (released) and I missed the biggest spring I ever hooked, probably 50 lbs. Line broken  :(
It was kind of slow, only about 5 springs caught out of 20 fisherman.

fished the birkenhead today at owl creek campground. throw your stuff behind the rock. hooked one spring but lost it. peach wool with 2 red beads to get it down fast.
