« on: August 13, 2006, 09:04:37 PM »

I am heading out tomorrow in hunt for my first ever sockeye.  was at the seabird island last week and i didn't catch anything.  i wish to go somewhere closer this time and where i can cast from the shore ( don't have a wader yet).  any suggestion guys?  how's about grassy bar? how do i get there?  thanks a lot for your help!

Grassy is only accessible by boat unless you can walk on water. ;)

Try peg, but maybe go up river to avoid the crowd, you will still get fish if others are being caught but will have more room.
