Is there a secret to catching these sockye right now or what?
Havn't fishined for them intentionaly before?

No he was talking leader length.  I feel that this still may be a bit much, as I have had most of my sucess over the years with a 10-12 foot leader. :)

PM sent Lil fishermen.  Hope this helps out a bit.   :)  Everyone has to start somewhere.  Contrary to what a lot of people say, this isn't a no skill fishery.  There are so many little things that must be done right when in a big crowd of people to ensure a possitive experience. :)  Flossing the Fraser itself is easy if there isn't anyone around.  The tough part come when you have people fishing 3' apart all the way down the bar.

10 feet is plenty or the length of your rod!  Use too much and it is difficult to handle especially with the crowds.  Someone is going to get it in the eye especially if it is windy!  I went to lighter leader today and no corky and did quite well.  Sharp hook as well.

Where is the turnoff/parking?
What is the trail like and how long?
