so i get a call from a buddy of mine and he's telling me the river has dropped about 4-5 feet since yesterday so i pack my gear and off i go to meet him,upon arrival not a car in sight and away we went down the trail to our spot,fished it for awhile then another person shows up and we chatted for a while ,nice to meet you aquaboy, anyways the float goes for a dive and i wasn't paying attention so miss #1, on the second dive the float is well under the water and i pull up to set the hook the fish takes me into the fast water and bye bye fish as my 10lbs leader gives  :P ,fished for a bit and about 10Min's later the float dives for the third time, this time i was ready and set the hook i play it out for a bit to have it spit the hook on me as it jumps out of the water after the had a huge bird's nest which made my fishing day come to a short end oh well better luck next time  ;D

yeah those nasty birds nest can ruin your day pretty quick especially if your time limited.As for those chances i find that if your not on the ball then your gonna miss out as that seems to be my problem every time I'm out,either I'm chatting with someone or daydreaming  ::)

Nice tou meet you too man - not much went on after you left, the fish showed themselves a few more times, but I was up and out a few minutes after you.

no problem aqua anytime  ;) hope to see you out on the flow again as it was nice to fishing with you hope you can figure out you abu , yeah i know deadhead i gotta figure how to use it as i wasn't paying any attention once again . When you get a chance we should hit the flow again  ;) maybe cap/squamish.

Hey Scruffy, yes I finally joined the forum. ;D It was sure alot of fun that day fishing up in the cap. I think I'll be heading up to our spot again in the morning so if you decide to go tomorrow you know where I'll be ;) It was also nice meeting you too aquaboy. :)
