Port Moody Ecological Society operates the Noons Creek Hatchery. I'm sure they are always looking for volunteers.

The Chilliwack/Vedder River Cleanup Coalition hosts four cleanups per year. You'll have to talk to Chris whether the hours you contribute during these cleanups are recognized by schools.

Como Watershed Group does not offer that many volunteer opportunities, but it is in Coquitlam. They conduct non-native plant removals, etc.

Alouette River Management Society is also worth contacting.

I seek for young volunteers for an event that I do in early July. Tasks include setup, take-down, keeping fishing gear organized, selling draw tickets, etc.

I don't think the schools recognize that
