well when the rain stopped this afternoon I decided it was time to get out of the house, with nearly an hour of daylight left we decided to hit a local lake for some trout action. Although we did not catch any we did see five fiesty hatchery bows brought onto the dock, all of which were caught on shrimp"we were using powerbait ". So although it looks like the local rivers may be blown, and the search for the elusive steelhead has to be put on hold, there seems to be plenty of opportunities around to catch their little land locked brothers.
