new years day
« on: January 07, 2007, 10:45:33 AM »

 8) went to the vedder today no one was on the river maybe 10 guys. lost a big wild fish to the heavy water. thought that was my only chance. broke off 3 times and decided to go with pink wool and fish shallow 16in to my weight and another 12 in to my hook. the peice of wool was the size of my fingernail. 3 casts later the float dove under the water and i pounded it and the fight was on. she jumped 3 or 4 times and took 3 really good runs and came right in to my feet just to see that she was a hatchery then flip the hook popped out (BUT) she just laid there and let me pick her up and bonk. a little hiphip hurray and i was on my way to the store to weigh her and it was 13lb and the roe is sweet cant wait to go out again. has anyone gone out since the 1st? i dont now how to attach the picture mabey( nosey) can he took a picture.

Here's a picture of Clipper's fish he couldn't resist stopping at my place and rubbing it in that I'd turned down the fishing trip the day before.
