Best way to get along on the Fraser, get ur fish and go home.  I have found most people quite civil  on the Fraser but then I avoid the super congested areas ie) Peg Leg, Scale.  In my few years of steelhead fishing, I have found almost all people to be very cooperative, in general as some of u have mentioned steelhead fisher "people" seem to be a different breed, usually more patient and  accepting, but then it is not a meat fishery!  Maybe steelies should be just catch and release?
