Well i got some new wader boots for my birthday so i hit the vedder today
Started off at Tamahi down the logging road trail just right over the bridge
working my way down to the big pool (not sure of the name)
water levels were nice clarity was about 1.5 to 2 feet
nothing doing for me or the guy at the pool
moved up river just above Alison pool (5 vehicles at Alison)
nothing there either
so went to On the way for a coffee (no reports of fish)
i walked down fom there to the water met a guy with his dog(black Lab)nice dog
he had just started so i fished above him and we moved through the run(nice looking water)
nothing doing so i called it a day
lots of guys out there heard of only one hatch caught

Hi there BG and congratulations on landing those boots. I got a new pair for Xmas and have already given them a good workout. Thanks for the report, always nice to have some idea about whats going on at the river before the weekend really begins. I guess for the early birds its already begun but I took the lazy sleep in route and am now ready to go. Thanx again BG.
