Just because you have a pin rod doesnt mean you know how to fish it.....

Good Numbers of fish still around.... I went for a day trip yesterday, but got skunked. Within the first 5 minutes of fishing a spot, some old timer beside me hooks into a 7 pound wild, a dark red and green colour. Fished a bunch of other spots with no luck, and only saw 8 cars out on the river from the crossing up to ranger.  ??? Top is looking very nice. below Tamahi was 6 inch, and i dont know about the lower. The water is still up a bit.
