Hey man. Well if i were you i would head up to Barnes lake which is right out of ashcroft. The fishing on the lake is awesome and it is not to big so small boats, pontoons and belly boats are awesome to use on the lake. There is camping spots on the lake and the weather by there is awesome right now and will only get better.. You can fish and dirtbike all day then head down to the bar in town for a few drinks ;D..

Give it a try if your in the area its a very fun spot i make it a must every year ;)

If you're taking your dirt bike please respect the fishermen and keep well away from the lake with the bike. I love riding dirt bikes as well and I love the power and sound they make but when I'm fishing, I hate the noise that comes from them.

I'm not preaching - don't get me wrong. As we all get older and our ears get more sensitive, listening to the bumble bee on steriods sure gets on the nerves.

Have safe fun out there but please think of the fishermen and the peace and quite they're looking for.

If you don't we'll start bonking all the fish out there just so you won't have any to fish for when you get into your 40's and beyond.  ;)
