Local Lake --- then Sea-Run Cutties June 2/07
« on: June 02, 2007, 06:56:11 PM »

Hit a local lake...that being Como lake from noon til 3. Got quite a few fish, maby about 17 hook-ups, 13 landed. All in the 12-17inch range. Surprised the fishing was so good even with the super hot weather.

After leaving there, went to Timmies to grab an Ice Capp and head to a park. While sitting there for a bit, the I realized there was an incoming tide, so I grabbed my fly rod and headed down to the water for a few casts. I made a couple casts and then i felt a good grab and immediately my line started going. So I gained control over the fish and brought it in. It was just what I was targeting, a Sea-Run cutty ;D. I was a beautiful fish, about 14-15inches and dime bright. After taking the fly out, I quickly released it to continue its eating binge.

Tight Loops,
Coho Cody ;)

Way to go Cody, there are lots of those sea-cutts in the Inlet. I can't share exact locations, my sources would stop feeding me info; but I can tell you they push upward of 24 inches.
