We have to protect wild fish.
We also have to farm fish. There is no way that world wildd salmon stocks can support our appetites.
The question is do we farm fish the way they are doing it now or is there are better way.
Do we farm it ,or do we raise more eggs in the hatcheries and let them into the rivers to do their own thing.
Of course the business and political inclination is to do it in the cheapest, most profitable way which may not always be in the interest of the future.
