Fraser at the Mission bridge - July 15th
« on: July 15, 2007, 01:10:54 PM »

Was out at the south side of the bridge this morning with my father in law, first time fishing there.  We barfed from about 8-11am and ran skunk.  Did see a sturgeon in the 5 foot range jump about 100 feet right in front of us which was pretty cool.

Good day to be out, but always better if something had of chomped on the spin n' glows..

Very best,

Ian

Barfished there once for Coho and wound up catching a couple Sturgeon.  Decent spot if the fish are coming thru. ;)

If you fish close to the bridge you will catch sturgeon 3-4 feet. There seems to be a sturgeon hole there.  If you move down river of the bridge you will do better for salmon when they are there.
