Osoyoos lake
« on: August 03, 2007, 12:24:12 PM »

I will be going there for the weekend and would love to fish it. Can anyone help me out like what fish are there, where and how to fish there? I'm thinking fly fishing but im open to anything

Thanks!  :)

fish the oxbows at the north end of the lake for bass...fish deep off the packing house halfway from town to the north end...some big bows cruise the deep hole there...as for the "few trout" comment...ignore it...lots of good trout fishin' if ya know where to go and how deep they run....;)))

mojo 60 seconds to the oxbows from my door... ;D

Hey Mojo,

I'm gonna be up there tomorrow and all week. D'ya know if the gate to the dyke road (right off the road to the burrowing owl winery) is still locked? A few years ago it was fun to drive down to the end and fish those parts of the river entering to the lake, but last year the gate was locked.
