I am heading to Pender Harbour for the weekend and it looks like while I am there I will get the chance to get out fishing for at least one day :)
apparently there are a few lakes in that area worth looking at !! I am taking my Kickboat just in case ... does anyone have any advice of lakes in that area ?? which ones are producing , what flies are working etc

I don't know how well you'll do now.  Those lakes are pretty warm now.  Isn't really good for fishing.
Ruby Lake might be okay if you troll but still, it's a long shot.

Try Klein Lake on the north end, near the ferry terminal.
Haven't fished there this time of year but anything green has worked in the past.
Good luck, I'm headed that way mid September.
