Went out for one last try for pinks in the lower fraser.  Started fishing around 6am.  Fished for 45 minutes with no luck.  Just about to leave and took one last cast.  My gold hammered croc hung up around 15 feet from shore...then it takes off with my drag buzzing.  Few seconds later the fish is gone.  Tried for another 15 minutes with no luck.

well seen as how this can't be a hot spot

And if you want to make it a report at least give us a clue
where you were fishing :-\
not having a go just dont see the sense in reporting something of no help ???

Right now the fish are on the move, the coho will not sit in one spot for to long only for a bit to rest.
yup i could see the fish moving into where we were fishing
the bite would be on then after a while not much happening then in they would come again
you just need to find the holding spots

Thanks for your report Britguy. Keep them coming. We all enjoy reading them. There is no spot which can stay hot every day. All fishable spots can turn on & off depending on the fish run and your luck on the day you are fishing. This is particularly true for coho when they are still not in large number yet in the river.

I think every year there are a few secret spots that no one realizes are great spots because they were lousy till the river changed due to high water.

Bug pumper, you are bang on!
Last year's flooding made some tremendous changes to the river. Some honey holes of yesteryear are back, others are gone, new spots are everywhere. All it takes is a bit of exploring. Fortunately, most people tend to congregate at the more famous runs and holes, which allows the more adventurous among us to find some very fishable real estate away from the crowds.
What would we do if it weren't for KWB, the TB, Lickman, Peach, the Crossing, Tesky's, Allison, Limit hole, the Crossing and other mass congregation places? ;D

What cha talking about guys the only runs to fish are the run with a 100 guys there....so keep fishing them  ;) ;)

Skillful hijack Britguy. I'll have to include the ubiquitous ego shot in my next report so I get a little more attention.
