Give a man a fish and he will eat for a day.  Teach him how to fish and he will sit in a boat and drink beer all day.

Thanks for the indepth report.

I learned not to blame the refs in PeeWee hockey. It's unsportsmanlike and childish. But when you can't accept that your team sucks what should i expect? ;D

Very entertaining report Chris.

I'm new to the Vedder and wondered what you mean by the flow, is it a monthly thing?

I know that various pools are named but really haven't learned where they are.

The day I went up this year the people seemed to out number the salmon 10 to1.

There's a reason that the USACE and DOE basically banned gravel extraction from US rivers, it is not good.   In rare cases, dredging can be allowed to allow continued passage for boats and to clean out debris behind dams, but that's about it.  Until I see the day that a dredged pool actually stores flood water, I'll continue to believe that it doesn't do anything but make money for contractors.
