I am a relative novice , on the Chiliwack , but have caught some big spring and a ho or two, in the lower river commercial spots, in the past.
I had a nice day in Yarrow on Monday , with constant action on Pinks, which was a good start to my year. I tried mid river on the other side of the first bridge by the campground (, by local advice) , 1st thing in the am , but wall to wall guys , and very slow. I suspect that some of the really cool spots are a bit up river , and I don't mind putting in the time for river knowledge, but time and condition , allows me to blast to the Wack , only so often.
I don't expect a plethora of replies , but can anyone direct me to a good area to hike around in , distance isn't a problem , in order to try and bring something home , for dinner , Indian Candy etc. I am a ethical fisher, but fish hard when I get goin'-I love beautiful wide open spots , with lots of room for wading and landing.
tryin' hard Brian
