Robson Bight, six weeks after the spill
« on: October 11, 2007, 03:38:38 PM »

Many of you may remember that there was a large oil spill near Robson Bight on August 20th this year. The timing was bad (well, any oil spill is bad, but this made it worse), as it coincided with the seasonal migration of salmon and mammals. This five minutes documentary by Twyla Roscovich summarizes the aftermath of this spill.

Pretty awful stuff especially since Orcas don't have a sense of smell and so have little idea they're swimming through poison.

Well... The government is so busy with the 'Green Power' deal that they can't even check the news :(
This is all about the PRIORITIES... Where the $$$ comes into the system...

that's what we get for voting in a bunch of pansy *ssed LIEberals into power in B.C. all they care about is the olympics, raising property taxes and getting off scott free on DUI charges  ;D
If Super Gord and his band of LIEberal peons really cared about fish in this province, they would be screaming at the DFO cronies in ottowa to DO SOMETHING, they would be excercising the recommendations given on fish farming..... and the list goes on and on and fricken on

none of this report on the spill should surprise any of us.... typical LIEberal irresponsibility at it's finest.... gordo figures they can just ignore things like this.... the cheakamus disaster....... and other environmental disasters in b.c. and they will just go away..... what's a LIEberal done for you lately

sometimes it feels like no matter who you put into office the environment gets F#@$#d over. really would we be winning with another party in there? this is just shameful.
