I was lazy after a recent salt water fishing trip and kind of forgot to wash my spoons & spinners; and now some of them are starting to rust/corrode.  Does anyone have any suggestions on how I can remove the rust and corrosion (preferably without any harsh chemicals, but I know that might be wishful thinking).  Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks

That's probably what I'm going to do.   I definitely learned a good lesson here.

I have always found that rubbing dull spoons with sand at the side of the river brings them up sparkling. it this dosent work steel wool should do the trick.

If you think wd is a harsh don't use it. If you don't use it.

The easiest and mildest thing to do is to rub it with a mix of baking soda and water, it'll take some elbow grease but does work.

Throwing good gear out because it's a bit rusty is just plain stupid. ::)
