off topic "rv"

Does any one know of a good rv site.  I thinking of buying a used travel trailer that has been kept in a heated shop and as i woke up this morning and noticed that it was below zero i started think about if it was winterized.  What are some of the step in doing this or if anyone has some tips.

 :o well to winterize it you should first drain all the water tanks then flush them ouy. next put in some winter plumbing antifrezze and run it through the lines. leave it in during the winter months. also put some in the toilet to make sure the damm thing dont frezze also.buy a drizair to put inside to absorb any moisture that gets trapped inside the unit.check it at least once a week and drain the water out iof it.and last make sure any exposed pipes under the unit are wrapped.as for rv sites i dont know of any in langley so good luck. ;D

all I did this year was drain all fluids like fresh ,gray, and black. Also make sure you drain the hot water tank. Than I ran rv antifrezze in the fresh. Got it from depot. Than I just turned on all the taps ,showerhead and toilet until it turned red. hot and cold. Then i picked up air dryer from steveston marine and hardware for $59. I'm sure you can get it from an rv store too. Uses I think 60 watts and just keeps the air  above the dew point. Everyones winterizing might be different but this is what my buddy, his parents and I did.

I usually take mine to Peg Leg in Chilliwack. Lots of room for fishing, dirt biking and fire pits. Just make sure you don't have to cross too much water and you'll be fine. Nothing beats camping beside the river! Even if it is the Fraser.
