Vedder river - December 22, 2007
« on: December 22, 2007, 05:59:27 PM »

Hit the flow for the second time this week, lots of snow on the roads heading out there and I even had to take a couple runs to get over the Keith Wilson bridge this morning.  When we finally arrived at the river we found the
conditions in the lower end to be pretty decent, fished from bottom to top and back down to the bottom again, nada :-\ .  Talked to a bunch of other anglers and got the same reports.

Despite the lack of fish it was a pretty good day, for one I didnt put my truck into the ditch, and secondly I didnt lose my prized new five dollar dne balsa float. Like Chris needs anymore anyways!

Brought the camera today in hopes of getting some pictures of the winter wonderland, but after the first shot of my "fishing caddy" heading down the trail my batteries died ::).

Wondering if other members had any luck pursuing the elusive steelhead today?
