hey just wondering if you can flyfish for bass if so what would be a good fly.

Tried flyfishing for them for the first time yesterday and was using tom thumb and black wooly bugger and what a blast..... ;D they really hit hard and also manage to catch some decent size crappies.

  Your talking bass when you are out fishing the st mary's for west slopes. When you and the old man get back I will take you guys out with the fly rods for some bass. Have him give me a call.

If you head north on neaves road in pitt meadows it is called sturgeon slough. It is the slough between the turn off to Golden eagle golf course and Swan-e-set golf course. Park on the north side of the bridge and you can walk the dyke to find openings to fish.

Leach, crayfish, and minnow patters all work well. Do some reading hear on the net tons of info east of the rockies and down south. Bass and Crappie on the fly are a blast and the best way I have found to learn the art of dry fly fishing; very forgiving fish when you have the right pattern. Have fun learning.
