Hey Milo, did see you take a dunk in the water. Entertaining to say the least.  ;)

I kind of discovered this spot last year before most people knew about it. It was a VERY productive year last year. This year it is stacked with coho but they just aren't taking. I still think the water is a bit too low and clear.

I have pictures of a very large coho my buddy caught and released from that day.

My inlaws are Croatian so I did understand some of what you guys were saying.  ;D

Also a huge weed growth doesnt help matters. Those weeds were not in there last year like they are this year. So many places including some sloughs have been overgrown by vegetation making it more and more difficult to target coho.

So true, Bryan.
By next year, the spot won't be fishable anymore unless some very high water comes from behing the slough and washes everything down.

But then again, there is always steelhead season...new spots to discover...they form every year.
