Planning a day for the lady...
« on: July 26, 2009, 05:53:49 PM »

So my girlfriends birthday is coming up and she keeps telling me she wants to go boating, tubing, wakeboarding, fishing, etc. and I happen to have a boat at my disposal and the means to do all those things, but I was wondering if you guys think indian arm is a good location for all that? I'm not sure whats in season since I haven't really been fishing in almost a decade and I've only really ever been river fishing.

I've got prawn and crab traps and that should be easy enough if I get the bait right. But as for the fishing, what species should I be trying for? Any good sources of information I can get on these kinds of things? how about bait? fishing strategies? thanks in advance guys, this forum rocks!

cates park I agree with for crabbing. fish frames are great bait for the crabs. Granite falls up the Indian arm has some surronding areas for prawns (cat food 4 bait) about 300ft and nice tubing and riding in this area also depending on the boat traffic. Good Luck
