I was there on Sunday too and the fishing was very good in the early hours. Surprised to see that many people on the beach.

Good thing is that there are lots of beaches to have.

fished it from 4pm-8pm on the 9th and didn't see anyone hook up

I guess it's another early morning fishery

It can be for sure. Was there early yesterday and saw only two hookups out of maybe 30-40 guys

. Its somewhat tide dependent also. Once the tide receded a bit there were a few more but not many, not sure how it was after 1pm.

also fished Sunday, 9th from 6PM to 8PM. Saw a few risers a little further out, nothing when the tide came up higher. I think one guy caught one on a fly from the beach south of the point.
will try an early morning this week....
