It's been nearly 2 wks....

It's been nearly 2 wks. now that I stumbled upon a sportfishing tv. show nightly at 11:30 pm on CHEK-TV. called "NICE FISH" with the host Gary Cooper. ( posted about this show on Oct.1st on FWR.) Nice to hear Gary also e-mailed Rodney recently in response. ----------------------------------- Now that I've viewed many of the programs since.... can say Gary Cooper comes across very laid back & ya just get a feel your right there fishing with him.  Comes across so natural like as if there was a "hidden camera". ---------  Beautiful back ground scenery as well when he's fishing the lakes & rivers.--------- There must be alot of viewers watching or recording every night plus some seniors who may not have the chance to "get out" anymore because of age ...(75-80-90 yr olds etc...who fished our BC lakes rivers & salt)--------------------- Just as the lead stories on FWR homepage are written so well ya can "feel the excitement"..... so is Gary Cooper's "Nice Fish".  Going to keep reading FWR'S homepage stories & watching tv at 11:30pm. as it really keeps my interest up to put the line in the water.  If ya tune into a tv show where a guy says "Come to papa" when playing a fish... you have the right channel !!!! :)

Having worked with Gary and participated in many of his shows since 1990,it's nice to see people still enjoy his antics and laid back attitude towards fishing, he is a great ambassador for the resource and gets most of his pleasure showing kids how to fish.

 I had a chance to meet Gary this summer up at Queen Charlotte lodge in August. I gave him a big thankyou for the TV shows they produce, at the time I was there they were making another one for the fall he sure loves to fish.
