The Chilliwack & Vedder River is a precious resource that is the back bone of our community. From tourism to personal use we all share this special place. It is up to us to maintain the River for future generations.  Please join us by participating in the first annual Vedder & Chilliwack River Conservancy Photo Contest.  All proceeds will be donated to the Chilliwack River Action Committee, a non-profit society and designated charitable organization administered by volunteers. Their goal is to restore and protect habitat in the Chilliwack River watershed.
SUBJECT:  The Vedder &Chilliwack River.
THEME:  To capture the essence of our beautiful resource and its many users.
PRIZES:   There will be a $100.00 grand prize as well as many additional prizes.
HOW TO ENTER: The contest will run from February to November 2009 when we will have an award ceremony were the photos will be auctioned off to the public to raise money that will be donated to the Chilliwack River Action Committee.  All participants must submit 1 – 8 X 10 unaltered (no Photoshop) print of each photo (glossy finish without border) and a $5.00 entry fee for each photo.  Please mail all photos along with entry fees to: 48665 Chilliwack Lake Road, Chilliwack, B.C.
