 thinking i will stick it out, why mess with a good thing.. maybe get a 3wt fly rod and try that this year, but the shimano static has caught my eye numerous times.. i have used flies on my spinning rod and have had great success.

ended up getting a abu garcia 301u, tried it out for a few hours, very happy with it, thanks for the input :)
