Any opinions on using braid for the mainline?  It was nice using this during the Salmon season because it had less drag on the water and a lot of strength for its diameter.

Braid line tends to be to visable in clear water and fish may see it.

lol stop kidding yourselves KIDS i've been fishing these rivers for almost 20 years!!And it doesn't matter what fancy line or lure u use......bottom line is fish are stupid
...stop trying to convince yourself that u need to buy this or that ,if you fluke out and happen to bounce a piece of your girlfriends pink panties off a steelheads nose
its going to take it... Its all a matter of being at the right place at the right time!!!!!Trust me i've probably caught about 200 steelhead over my life and it really doesn't matter.....stuff it right in there mouth and they dont have a choice LOL.

:D well said, must be the taste of the pink panties that makes them close their mouth. Wonder if they like sweaty pink boxers. I'll try it, I'll be the guy casting a pink boxer on the river tomorrow

Considering i probably only get out  6 to 10 times a season i figure i'm doing pretty good....I'm sorry but i've only been a member of this forum for maybe six months or so and have been reading posts daily and it i just see a lot of people ridiculing and picking apart others for absolutely everything...you caught too many fish you must be snagging or flossing or you must be something doing something wrong cause u got skunked again...or you handled that fish wrong because it got too wrestles and u couldn't hold it properly....if we're all so ethical why are we hooking such a precious species in the first place......BECAUSE WE ARE ALL ADDICTED !!!!!!!
