Buntzen Lake, April 25th 2010
« on: April 25, 2010, 02:31:36 PM »

fished there from between 11:00 - 1:00 via canoe. trolling willow leaf and wedding ring with worms.

caught 2 trout around 13inches and lost another three. despite the wind and odd shower early on, a good day to be out :)

all over the south half of the lake, around where the old hatchery use to be and the east shoreline and around the twin islands. caught both about a hundred meters south of those twin islands.

thanks again, I enjoy fishing Buntzen lake and I have also had good success in those areas in early season, I have found the later it get's in the season the better the eastern shoreline gets and farther down towards the north end.

i believe the north east end stays the best the longest because there is the most inflo and the fact that it is shaded for the longest, therefore should be slightly cooler. just my two cents 8)
