Just wondering if anyone knows of a store where I can purchase herring/sardines/anchovies for bait in the lower mainland?

Thanks for any input you can provide!

You used to be able to buy herring in new west and steveston at the docks. not too sure if you still can, worth checking out though.

i know berry's bait and tackle has it all... its frozen and i believe that most gas stations and some tackle shops get there bait from there, army navy has bait as well...   i have heard the baitrix is a great bait, used with scent it has out fished the real thing... hope this helps take it easy

If you don't like the fish you're catching... change the bait!!

If you find GOOD bait buy extra and keep it in the freezer if you go out often, if you don't get out often don't worry about too much just try to get your bait a few days before you plan to use it.
Nothing worse than planning a trip, go to get bait and all that's left is the freezer burnt stuff (if there's any at all) when the fishing gets hot.
'Cuz then you waste so much time running around or switching to plan B.
