For?

Probably to show people fishing the vedder in shorts in October.

Being comfortable is all that counts. If you find it cold wear waders, otherwise dont.

went and checked out the section north of the freeway bridge today.Water is still realy high...lots of mosquitos also :)

Yeah you re right about those skeeterz Weatherby, they were out in full effect.  I started from the train bridge and worked my way up to the peach area and nothing.  Didn't see or hear anything about fish being caught either.  Maybe next week.

i started at vedder crossing bridge and worked my way to peach. skeeters werent bad to start but as soon as we went passed peach parking lot they started coming in clouds, had no choice but to turn back and go work the last spot "even harder" soon as we got passed the parking lot they took off tho. thankfully. packing bug spray the next time for sure

Was up checking out the vedder just before limit hole--5-6 people fishing.  Watched for 10 mins and saw only one sockeye landed and released.

Was just fly fishing the vedder for trout just past the railway bridge and talked to some guys who were there for a couple hours searching for that elusive salmon but were out of luck. I landed 3 decent trout averaging 10 inches tho :)

nice score strobes! decent sized compared to mine.. caught about 3 the other day, biggest one being about 5" haha, more like sardines but better than nothing right!
