thanks for the heads up Hook, but i already knew that :D this weekend i wanna start tieing different patterns like the ones you mentioned, ill get pictures up as soon as i can, thanks  ;D

P.s. i was tieng them for this steelhead season coming up  ;)

well if your tying for steelies i will make one suggestion that MUST be added to the arsenal. MOAL leeches, pretty cheap to tie up and they fish very well, easy to cast and sink like a rock. Also helps that steelies have a hard time resisting them if you put them infront of them.

your in Surrey arent you Blue ? maybe we could meet up and i could show you some of what im talking about  ;)

Yes, Hook, i am located in surrey, ive seen you a couple times at green timbers in the spring, didnt noe it was you though untill talking to you before  :D hopefully ill run into you sometime this fall and we can talk  ;D

i did a quick google search on the MOAL leech, and found this site, its this the pattern you were talking about?

Yes that's pretty much the exact thing I'm talking about. I leave less shank at the front when I cut it and make them 4" long or close to it. I got my way of tying it from an issue of BC Oudoors
