well if your tying for steelies i will make one suggestion that MUST be added to the arsenal. MOAL leeches, pretty cheap to tie up and they fish very well, easy to cast and sink like a rock. Also helps that steelies have a hard time resisting them if you put them infront of them.

Yes, Hook, i am located in surrey, ive seen you a couple times at green timbers in the spring, didnt noe it was you though untill talking to you before  hopefully ill run into you sometime this fall and we can talk

Yes that's pretty much the exact thing I'm talking about. I leave less shank at the front when I cut it and make them 4" long or close to it. I got my way of tying it from an issue of BC Oudoors
