Capilano River, October 8th 2010
« on: October 08, 2010, 11:17:29 AM »

Well, this is my first post in the reports section...

I went out for three hours this morning, and it was quite nice on the river.  I started in one of the more popular spots on the lower river.  The fish were a bit more sparse and a lot darker than last week.  They were just as responsive to my offerings...no fish on that river for me this year.

After about half an hour of throwing spinners and wool I decided to go for a walk.  I checked out another hole and while it was more peaceful, it wasn't any more productive - spinners and corkies.  The river is quite low, very clear and looks beautiful.  I saw chinook, coho and jacks...one coho's head was falling apart while swimming at my feet.
