Just wondering if that big rock pile is still there in the Checkye mouth where it runs into the Cheakamus  ???

Would take a ton of volume to blow that thing out thats for sure. And yes it kind of is like lower Cheakamus lake now haha. Heard it is close to 30 feet deep where the frog pond used to be.

I investigated the pond at the Cheekeye inflow. It is hard to fish from shore, only few spots with OK access. Fly fishing is almost out of the question unless you fish around the Cheekeye inflow. There are a few promising spots.

I guess the only half decent way to fish it would be from the upper bridge boundary line and work your way down  :P . The only thing about that is ......... I have gone up to have a look from the bridge and seen nothing moving through , yet down by the Checkye mouth at that pool there were a ton of Coho and Chum rolling every where .

What pool by the Cheekeye mouth are you talking about? The one just up from the debris, basically upstream from the actual Cheekeye inflow? I have not seen lots of fish rolling anywhere along the Cheakamus.
