Was a little skeptical at first, but I've read scientific papers about iron seeding in the ocean and its plausible.  Good find, thanks.

Sure sounds promising.

Such an increase of healthy & numbers increase in the early 70's experiment happening when the ash or iron was put in Great Central Lake looks quite possibly conclusive.
More experimentation should be started & see what happens.
If it works I guess the next question is is the costs ($$$) & data on how to do it worth the results.
But it the salmon population increases "leaps & bounds" & it doesn't cost too much money WOW what a break thru.

Would it work though for only some types of salmon as some act dif than others after being hatched...some staying in lakes some going down-river etc.... VERY INTERESTING FOR SURE.
