How do you rig your artificial worm for steelhead float fishing?

Hook head first with hook out 3/4 way down and dangling by tail
Hook tail up with hook in 1/4 way up and out 3/4 way down with head dangling down
Use a metal jig
Other method (pls describe)

Interesting. I have never tried this type of rigging.
Anyone tried this for steelhead?
Looks like it would be effective for jigging, but for float fishing?

Heya GLX the pics of the egg sucking worm looks good I'm gonna try that.
If I were a steelhead I'd hit that for sure.

I usually rig mine with a 1/0 Gamakatsu hook.

I just hook mine by the top of the head. Don't be afraid to experiment when out on the river.

thanks, ya a buddy gave me a pack of the black worms he says he gets them in the states  :-X , and the white ones i had just found in my vest lol.

Today I found a pack of 4" black powerbait worms while shopping at a tackle store in Calgary area. I guess they use it for bass fishing here. I am going to give it a shot for low viz fishing at the Vedder next time I go up there.
