I'm always amazed at the risks some people will blindly take around water to catch (or poach) a few crabs or fish....yoiu'd think they must be starving.......climbing along the banks of fast moving rivers at night with a net to snag some salmon, a half dozen people in a little cartopper with a storm blowing up still fishing for rockfish, wading rivers without PFDs and wader belts, etc.

Why? We are just another mammal, no more important to the planet than a mouse or a bear, The planet would probably sooner rid itself of us than either of the two fore mentioned animals as we do more damage to it. Oh yes the guy was a moron who died doing some thing that he should not have so no sympathy here.
