LVM Pump
« on: March 26, 2011, 02:16:32 PM »

So just wanted to say I have an 8ft pontoon  and my son has 10 ft so we keep talking about buying an LVM pump because we heard it works well. Anyway he finally did and we tried it and it inflated one of my 8ft. pontoons in less than 1min. awesome quick I was very impressed.

--did you have correct adaptor for the valve on your boat?
--I just use a cheap coleman electric from Can tire then hand pump to firm up if it needs it when I get to where I'm going.
--I'm sure the outcast one is good and will last longer than the $39. pump but I've used it for 3 yrs now... only problem I have with it is people borrow it and don't bring it back .

--Hand pump isn't that bad as long as you dont have to deflate boat totally each time to pack it away... I usually have ith 3/4 full so not much to top up.
--Have to be careful as when I go from valley bottom to Coquahalla connector could blow up the boat if to much air in it at valley bottom .
--Same deal cold air and water may want to top up at the lake or river.
